Life in IGNOU Campus

Night in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU),
New Delhi
When I retire in guest house after a daily workshop on Online Journalism and New Media Study. It’s nothing you can do but looking in a dark alley with no one around, you can hear cricket making noise from a distance dogs barking can be heard. It’s so much silence that you get afraid from your own shadow. After 9:30 it resembles as if you are in a grave yard. Only thing which looks beautiful is the diamond studded sky.
I feel there is no life!
It s being 10 days now in IGNOU, and 17 more days to go.

  1. I sypathize with you Fowzan. I think a lot of people are dissatisfied with the living arrangements. It's a real shame that you guys are so isolated. Did you at least do a little exploring in the area immediately around the campus?

  2. Fowzan, why we are so afraid of solitude? Dont you think Fowzan that it inself is a million dollar question. Personally, I find this environment so very much refreshing from the all that holdrum of city life ----far from the madding crowd. I feel kyle has a good suggestion --- little exploring in the area immediately around the campus.
But, again the same ------------long, nature walks!! Without a horse !!------Remember something ?
